Brass Camp
Brass Camp 2013 will be held on Saturday, July 6 from 10am to 5pm in the Couch building. All current and incoming members of the brass section are encourage to attend this great event. Contact Dr. Crotts (chip.crotts@music.gatech.edu) if you have questions.
Percussion Camps
There will be two highly recommended mini-camps for the entire percussion section (battery and front ensemble) on Saturday, June 22, and Saturday July 6 from 10 AM to 5 PM. These camps are not specifically required, but are recommended so that you can learn about playing style and ensemble development in the Georgia Tech Drumline. This gives the staff an opportunity to work with you before the final auditions at the beginning of band camp in August.
All students who live in the Metro area should plan on being there, and if you live outside the Metro Atlanta area and can make it, we would love to have you there. Contact Chris Moore at chris.moore@music.gatech.edu if you have any questions.
We are pleased to announce the leadership team for the Fall 2013 Marching Band season. We had approximately 80 students audition and interview for a leadership position and the decisions were incredibly difficult. Thanks so much for everyone that volunteered to be a leader in the band.
